NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Xmath, (PC windows NT based), (1 ea); Control Design Module, (PC windows NT based); Systembuild, (PC windows NT based); State Transition Diagrams, (PC windows NT based); Xmath, (UNIX based); Control Design Module, (UNIX based); Systembuild, (UNIX based); State Transition, (UNIX based); all items are by Integrated Systems Inc. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Integrated System, Inc., 555 Sparkman Dr., #1232, HUntsville, AL 35816 on a sole source basis. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have 5 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received afterthe 5 days or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Delivery to KSC is required within 2 weeks ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
