SERVICES, SUPPORT SERVICES AND SOLUTIONS (TELECONFERENCING SERVICES)
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY (RFI) ONLY. The General Services
Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Services (FSS), is conducting a
market research under the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS), FSC Group 67
Parts II & III -- Photographic Equipment, Supplies, and Services and
Video Services. This MAS will result in a Firm-Fixed Price/Indefinite
Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts for InteractiveMultimedia,
Bridging Services, Support Services and Solutions. GSA is interested in
contractors to satisfy federal agencies' teleconferencing needs. The
contractor must provide a two-way electronic communication between two
or more groups, or three or more individuals who are in separate
locations. Through the teleconference service, federal agencies will be
able to attend conferences, oral presentations, training, staff
meetings, daycare facilities, trade shows, focus groups integrated by
various forms of communication (voice, video, image, graphics, data) in
real time simultaneously. GSA is also interested in proposing related
Support Services and Solutions but not limited: Training, Installation,
Computer Aid Drawings, Maintenance and repair,
Deinstallation/Reinstallation, Upgrades, Fiber Optics Cabling,
In/outside cabling, Tele-services/Broadcast, Enhanced Features (e.g.,
meet-me and dial out, audio streaming, communication line), Audio or
Video Recording/Transcription, Modifications to Software applications,
Equipment and Replacement Parts, Conference confirmation, Room
Scheduling and Management. The purpose of this RFI is to gather
information from contractors for the purposes of developing a Statement
of Work as it pertain to this type of service. This acquisition will be
conducted using FAR Part 12 "Acquisition of Commercial Items"
procedures. The results of this RFI are expected to satisfy federal
agencies needs. GSA welcomes all interested parties to respond to the
following questions. What is your company's primary business line/area
of expertise and number of years? Are you large or small business?
What network (bridging) capabilities are required to perform this
service? Do you have the capabilities to provide services nationwide
and/or worldwide? Provide some literature/information on the products
and/or service you offer. Provide copies of the work requirements that
are similar in nature. Do you provide these services to federal
agencies and commercial customers? If you provided services to a
federal agencies, can you provide us with a point of contact to contact
about their future needs? Describe the capabilities of the system and
subsystem you support, and its basic components required. Provide a
layout of the system and subsystem and the critical aspects in terms of
performance and cost. What support services and solutions could you
offer? Do you sell or lease the equipment and software applications? If
not, do you want to team with GSA suppliers to provide that total
solution? What skilllabor categories may participate in this service?
