This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; A written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY. NASA/GRC intends to purchase an Odyssey 32-channel data aquisition system P/N 846925000, qty. 1 ea., an OD-100 aquisition card P/N 845054700 qty. 4 ea., an accererometer amplifier signal condition card P/N 845042900 qty. 8 ea., a Proview Software License P/N 826005700 qty. 1 ea, and a shipping case P/N 143903500 from Nicolet Technologies, Madison, WI 53711 on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b). Nicolet is the only source for a data aquisition system that is 100% compatible with the existing, NASA/GRC-owned Nicolet Odyssey system. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those ineffect through FAC 97-13. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3571 and 1,000 employees, respectively. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA/GRC is required within 15 calendar days ARO.
