The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District is requesting information pertaining to a two-component, high tensile strength polyurethane elastomer coating, steel gray color for an upcoming cleaning and painting project. Typical Properties (Cured) -- 1. Tensile Strength: 4400 psi (plus or minus 200)[30.3 MPa](ASTM D 412) 2. Elongation: 425% (plus or minus 50)[ASTM D 412] 3. Tear Strength: 475 lbs. per lineal inch (plus or minus 25)(83.2 kN/m)(ASTM D 1004) 4. Hardness: 85 to 90 Shore A (ASTM D 2240). Properties measured from polyurethane coating only, not substrate. Interested suppliers should respond with descriptive literature with respect to the above referenced project. Responses are required on or before 13 September 1999.
