Richey, (618) 229-9461 The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking sources who possess a tool for monitoring the status of MQ Series objects (Queue Managers, Queues, Channels etc) across different hardware platforms running operating systems such as Unix, OS/2, NT, Tandem, Unisys and MVS. The monitor will need to display the status of all the queues, collect and analyze MQ-specific data from a single point. Locate problems and bottlenecks across multiple nodes and queue manager status information. MQSeries systems management is primarily concerned with the creating, modifying, and deleting of queue managers and queues. The management tool must provide current and historical information about all MQ events from queue managers on other MQ-supported platforms. The ability to monitor the performance of individual applications using MQSeries is crucial in helping locate problems in the network.
