UPGRADE KIT, WINCH, DOUBLE DRUM Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Materiel Command Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA intends to place a purchase order on a sole source basis with Clamshell Buildings, 1990 Knoll Drive, Ventura, CA 93003 for ten (10) Upgrade Kits, Winch, Double Drum (Part #500835). The Contractor is the only known source for this item which must be integrated into the existing Large Area Maintenance Shelter (LAMS), Clam Shelter Model 50B-BBB-10CC, NSN 5410-01-334-3158. The purchase of these items are intended to replace existing winches in Pre-Position War Reserve stock. Interested parties who contend that they are capable of providing the supplies are required to submit a proposal within 15 days from the publication of this notice. Specific factual data, product literature, and other pertinent information, which demonstrates their capability in providing these items, shall be submitted to the above address, Attention: Mr. Thomas Bouchard (AMSSB-ACN-S) and the information submitted will be used as an evaluation basis to determine competence to successfully meet the requirements. All proposals received within the 15 day notice period will be considered by the Government. The Government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice. Technical responses and requests received, as a result of this Notice of Intent, will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
