The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD intends to procure Small Computer System Interface Module Interface Device (ScsiMID)hardware and Micro Module Interface Device(MicroMID)hardware, which are both required for data to be transferred from Tactical Automated Mission Planning System (TAMPS) and Navy Portable Flight Planning Software (N-PFPS) to AN/ASQ-215 Digital Data Set (DDS) equipped aircraft. The hardware will be procured on a sole source basis with Orbital Sciences Corporation, Fairchild Defense Division. Orbital is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of both items. Orbital has unique and peculiar knowledge of the designs and support associated therewith, and has possession of all documentation and drawings required for this effort. See Numbered Note 22.
