The, USDA, OCFO, National Finance Center (NFC) intends to negotiate solely with Tone Software Corporation to furnish, deliver F.O.B. Destination, install and maintain software that will allow NFC authorized users with efficient, direct access to multiple STEPLIBs, product versions and systems anytime during a TSO session, without having a LOGOFF and LOGON. This capability would greatly increase productivity while reducing resource consumption. Benefits would include less contention on volumes, shorter user response time, reduction in system I/O's increased DB2 flexibility and improved user service levels. The contractor will provide a Y2K certification statement. Technical Requirements: Software must operate on IBM 9672 model computers under IBM OS/390 V1 R2., IBM 9672 Model R56 and IBM 9672 Model R65. Must interface with Computer Associates Top Secret, Version 5., must operate using vendor ISPF Version 4, must operate in a Parallel Sysplex environment. The vendor must offer alternative product licenseacquisition pricing plans, as available (i.e., lease, purchase, machine based, site license, MIP-based, other). The vendor must offer alternative based, site license, GG MIP-based, other). The vendor must offer alternative product maintenance pricing plans as available (i.e., 7x24, 2 hour response time to trouble call, 5x8, 2 hour response time to trouble call, hot-lined support, other). WARRANTY: The vendor must provide a description of the terms, conditions and warranty period. The product must delivered to the NFC on or before October 1. 1999.
