Aviation Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide
staffing for a scientific study entitled "Congressional Shiftwork and
Fatigue Field Study." Work will require staffing for one pilot study,
data collection, data entry, and computer data bases of all the data
collected. This is a competitive requirement. The planned contract will
be for a one year period. This project is a collaboration between the
Civil Aeromedical Institute (CAMI) and the University of Pittsburgh
Medical Center Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology. It is
anticipated that one pilot study of 2 weeks duration will be completed
either in the Oklahoma City or Pittsburgh Air Traffic Control Tower
(ATCT). Data collection for the full protocol will be completed at two
facilities for 6 weeks duration each at the FAA's larger ATC
facilities, and therefore, will probably be in the geographical area of
a large city (e.g., Dallas, New York City, Miami, Los Angeles,
Seattle). The SIC Code is 8731. This notice is for informational

Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small
and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small
businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and
economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to
acquire short-term working capital assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
