The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supervision and other items and services necessary to test water samples for the water treatment plant at MCAS, Yuma AZ. Tests include but are not limited to the following: Microbiological, volatile organic, inorganic, metals, pesticides/synthetic organic chemicals, and radio-chemicals. Contractor's responsibilities are as follows: (1) Provide containers or coolers with appropriate preservative already inside the containers in accordance with environmental protection agency (EPA) regulation 40 CFR 186. (2) Provide overnight service for bottles when requested. (3) Complete the test results and return them to MCAS Yuma within 10 to 15 days, unless otherwise specified. (Must be complete and filled out properly). Any delay experienced by the contractor on any contracted courier (including Federal Express, UPS, etc) service shall be the responsibility of the contractor. (4) Laboratory reports and Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) required forms shall be filed by certified mail on a monthly basis (Total Coliforms). (5) Notify MCAS Yuma of failed tests within 24 hours. (6) Provide all re-sampling containers and preservatives. (7) Use EPA test methods that meet ADEQ Detection limit requirements. (8) Supply accredited licenses under safe drinking water act of 1986 for the State of Arizona (***need to provide a copy with quote***). (9) Analysis of a sample to determine compliance with a maximum contaminant level shall be in accordance with an analytical method that is currently approved by the Arizona Department of Health Services pursuant to A.A.C. R9-14-608 for drinking water. (10) Additional tests done without prior approval of the contracting officer will not be paid.
