R -- TRANSLATION OF FIRE FIGHTING MANUALS Under the authority of FAR 13.5, Tyndall AFB Florida intends to place a contract on a sole source basis with Oklahoma State University, Fire Service Programs, 903 N. Willis Campus, Stillwater OK 74078. This contract is for Translation of Copyrighted Fire Fighting Training Manuals into four different languages. Oklahoma State University owns the copyright to subject manuals. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties who contend that they are capable of providing the services should submit within 15 days from the publication of this notice, specific factual data and other pertinent information as so desired, to be used as an evaluation basis to determine competence to successfully meet the requirements. All proposals received within the 15 days notice period will be considered by the Government. The Government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice. Technical responses and requests received, as a resultof this Notice of Intent, will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
