SPAWARSYSCEN-Charleston, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for contractor supplied technical education and training services in support of the Technical Support Center/Mobile-Miniature Operations Control Center (TCS/MOCC) for use by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston Code 611. Services are required for a period of one year with four one-year options to extend the term of the contract. The Government anticipates the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee type contract. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 8299, with a size standard of $5-million dollars. The Government estimates a total of 133,380 man-hours over a sixty month period. Primary place of performance/delivery will be Patuxent River, MD; however, performance will be required at other areas as specified in the Statement of Work. This RFP will be transmitted via the Internet on the World Wide Web (WWW). The RFP/solicitation will only be available by WWW access through the SPAWAR public access on-line Contracts Information System. Once the solicitation has been posted, it is incumbent upon all interested parties to review this site frequently for update/amendments to any and all documents. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency in response to this solicitation.
