Rike, Contract Officer, 1-703-810-4799 This effort requires laboratory biological safety cabinets one (1) each, 3-Foot Class III Sample Receipt Glovebox w/HEPAQ filters and Gloves and one (1) each 6-Foot class III Glovebox with Chemical Dunk Tank Chamber w/extra set of HEPA Filters; with two (2) sets of gloves. These gloveboxes will provide for handling and analysis of samples that are potentially contaminated with both chemical and biological agents. The equipment must meet all specifications and requirements identified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Center for Disease Control and Prevention publication "Primary Containment for biohazards; Selection, installation and Use of Biological Safety Cabinets" for a Class III biological safety cabinet. The cabinets must meet specific design criteria as outlined in the solicitation. The contractor will provide for installation and initial field testing of the gloveboxes. Contractor will also provide documentation, to include, copies of past acceptance and inspection reports, operations manuals, troubleshooting guides, maintenance manuals, parts lists and any additional information as required for maximum utilization.
