The COTS Software Suite developed by Mainstay includes the cost analysis tool Price Proposal Analysis System and the associated risk analysis tool Systems Trades and Risks. NIMA has entered into a mission partnership for acquisition support and subject software is the only compatible software in support of that partnership. Authority for sole source procurement is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. This is a synopsis of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Mainstay Software Corporation and no solicitation shall be issued.
