Offerors should submit an original and five (5) copies of its Proposals to The St. Petersburg Housing Authority, attention: Mark Newton, Contract Administrator, 3250 Fifth Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33713. Proposals will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) Friday, 17 September 1999. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read at the above time and date. Proposals must be clearly marked "Request for Proposals #99-023 Jordan Park Unit Turnover Construction Services" Any Proposals received after the specified time and date will not be considered. All Proposals must be received and time-date stamped by the SPHA receptionist at the offices of the SPHA on or before the above specified time and date. If you choose to mail in your Proposal, it must be mailed return receipt requested and arrive by the specified time, regardless of the postmark date. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS. By submission of a Proposal the Contractor agrees, if its Proposal is accepted, to enter into a contract with the Housing Authority to complete all work as specified or indicated in the contract documents for the contract price and within the contract time indicated in the attached RFP #99-022. The Offerors further accept all of the terms and conditions of the RFP. A Pre-Submittal conference shall be held at The Jordan Park Development at Building 61 & 58 at 1100 Block of 25th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL, at 9:00a.m. EST, Wednesday, 8 September 1999 Bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Submittal conference at the Jordan Park Development. Proposals should be prepared in accordance with instructions contained within the RFP and should remain valid for 90 days. Proposals shall be evaluated by SPHA and the most responsive and responsible Offerors' Proposal will be accepted by the SPHA. Note: SPHA reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals. The scope of the work includes cleaning, checking/repair/ replacement of unit fixtures and components, painting, flooring, electrical, plumbing, mechanical work, cabinet work etc. to make vacant units ready for tenant relocations within Jordan Park.
