The wire saw contractor will wire saw two stress relief slots at the joints between blocks 7/8 (station 54 + 35.5) and 16/17 (station 57 + 85.5). The slot cuts will be made in blocks 8 and 16, because the joint in these blocks should be relatively free of form steel.
