This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number F38610-99-QW0135 is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small busines. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3272 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Contract award cannot be made to any contractor who is not enrolled in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. Description: Item 1, 599 each concrete median barriers, white, precast temporary with connecting rods and eyebolts, 12_L X 2_W X 2-8_H with 12_W X 4_H recessed lifting inserts centered 3_8_ on center of barrier. Each end of barrier to be recessed, concealing connection pins. Reinforcement must meet ASTM-615 standards. Design strength shall be 4000 PSI. See attached diagram . Item 2, 1 set ring and clutch, 2-ton Burke. Delivery shall be FOB destination to Charleston AFB SC. Delivery to be up to a maximum of 100 barriers per week. Delivery is to be made after 1 Oct 99 and prior to 31 Dec 99. Due to non-availability of funds at this time, prices must be good through 15 Oct 99.
