Botella, Contracting Officer and Point of Contact, (215)233-6551, fax (215) 233-6558 The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), intends to negotiate solely with Waters Technologies Corporation in Milford, MA to furnish, deliver, and install a Liquid Chromatograph/Mass Detector System to the USDA, ARS, Eastern Regional Research Center in Wyndmoor (Philadelphia), PA. This system will be used for general research in the search and identification of compounds. The system, Integrity 2690 Model, includes a Liquid Chromatograph which consists of a quaternary pump with vacuum degasser and autosampler; a Mass Detector which consists of a Particle Beam with Electron Impact Ionization; a Microbore cell, the appropriate computer system, Millennium and Wiley 6th/NIST98 Library software, a 15-month commercial warranty, on-site training, a one-year maintenance service plan, and one (1) set each of the equipment and software manuals. Companies with the demonstrated capability and financial capacity to provide and service such equipment must submit a written substantive statement outlining the Company's and systems' capabilities to the Contracting Officer within 15 days of publication of this notice.
