A Nano-SMPS is required with critical instrument features for a size range of 3 to 1000 nm in two ranges, a concentration range of 20 to 10-to-the-7th-power particles/cm-cubed, and a response time of less than 60 seconds for full size range scan and of less than 10 second for single channel monitoring for aerosol size measurement in the 3 to 50 nm range.
