This scientific equipment shall be used on a Carl Zeiss Axiovert 100 TV microscope modified with a CARV unit for real-time confocal imaging. The system shall have the following characteristics: 1) EEV 57 frame-transfer CCD, MPP; 2) 512x512 active pixel format, thinned, back illuminated CCD with frame store; 3) 13 x 13: pixels (6.6mm x 6.6mm image area); 4) Thermoelectric Peltier cooled with forced air; 5) Thermostating precision +/- 40 millidegrees C; 6) Supports binning and subregion readout modes; 7) Dual 16 bit 100 KHz, 16 bit 1 MHz A/D converter; 8) Windows 95; 9) Visual Basic programming capability; 10) Support high-speed DMA collection. This system shall be compatible with the IP Lab software which is written by Scanalytics to run the Zeiss Axiovert 100TV.
