The Naval Air Station Pensacola intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Explotrain, LLC for 10 training units. Training units are simulators used by an explosive ordnance disposal school and take the place of live munitions. Simulators provide high decibel sound feedback if incorrect procedures for disarming have been used. Units are mobile. Vendors believing they can provide such product may submit a written response within 15 days of the publication date. No contract will be made on the basis of offers/proposals received in response to this notice. Written responses must include pricing and technical information sufficient to enable the government to determine if solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued no additional synopsis will be published. Award will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. CBD numbered Note 22 applies.
