Washington (202) 305-4607 DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). Immigration & Naturalization Service requires hotel accommodations in Kansas City, Missouri or surrounding area for training during September 27, 1999 through November 27, 1999. Specific accommodations include three(3) training rooms, one(1) large conference room, and 15 lodging rooms for approximately forty-seven nights. The training rooms must hold a capacity of at least 20 persons and one(1) training room must be able to equip twenty-five(25) computer stations for at least three(3) weeks. All training rooms must be secured when not in use. The conference room must be large enough to accommodate at least sixty(60) persons and is needed for only the first week (September 27, 1999 through October 1, 1999) as well as November 12, 1999. Shuttle services are requested. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7011. Should there be two(2) or more responsive and responsible Small Business offerors, this procurement would then be set aside for small business. This solicitation document and its incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. The provisions FAR 52.212-Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Aug 1998) and FAR 52.212-4-Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (Apr 1998) apply to this acquisition.
