Freeman, Contracting Officer, (440) 838-6091 The Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center intends to solicit services to provide a total of 12 high top wheelchair vans and one (1) staff car, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Services will be broken out into different time periods that include 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (workdays); 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (off tours); including weekends and holidays. All vehicles must be certified by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO), and maintained in accordance with manufacturers specifications. All vehicles shall be inspected by VA personnel to ensure vehicles meets contract specifications. Awarded contractor shall have a 60 day transition period in which it must be able to begin providing full service to VA. Period of performance shall be October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000.
