The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Combined Acquisition Office, Jacksonville Region, intends to extend contract number N68931-94-C-E335 with Nationwide Boiler Incorporated for a maximum period of 12 months. The contract extension will be for an initial period of six (6) months beginning 01 December 1999 and ending 31 May 2000. The Government reserves its right to further extend services under the authority of FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, as needed, not to exceed an additional of six (6) months. The total extension will not exceed one year. The proposed contract extension is for the rental of steam plant with complete operation, manning, maintenance, and repair for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
