REQUEST FOR QUOTATION DAAD15-99-Q-0006. This is a combined
synopsis/solicitation for a commercial off-the-shelf Sprayer,
Pesticide, Frame Mounted. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation: quotations are being requested and a written solicitation
will not be issued. Quotations may be in the vendors' format, but must
address all requirements herein. The applicable Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) is 3563 with a size standard of 500 employees.
This is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. In order to be
eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the Central
Contractor Registry, http://edi.disa.mil/). This RFQ incorporates
clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12 and
Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The U.S. Army Materiel Command
Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA intends to purchase a quantity
of nine (9) Sprayer, Pesticide. The Government intends to award to the
vendor who offers the lowest price and meets the Government's delivery
requirements. This acquisition will be solicited and awarded on a
firm-fixed-price basis. NSN 3740-00-772-0090, FSMC: 3740, the general
characteristics and item description are as follows: Sprayer,
Pesticide, Frame Mounted, with hose reel and hand crank, Gasoline
Engine Driven, Mist and Solid Stream Pesticide discharge nozzle
dispersal's. Pump is to deliver no less than 360 GPH at 400 PSI with
pressure regulator gauge (0-1000 PSI). Suction and bypass hoses shall
be a minimum of 16 feet each. The suction hose shall be noncollapsible
with a diameter of not less than 1.5 inch. The bypass hose shall be
not less than 1.5 inch diameter. Discharge hose shall be a minimum of
50 feet long with a diameter of not less than 0.5 inch over. Delivery
of CLIN 0001AA shall be 45 days after award of a purchase order. All
deliveries of the four (4) Sprayer, Pesticide shall be F.O.B.
Destination with two (2) shipped to New Cumberland, PA and the
remaining two (2) shipped to Stockton, CA. The FAR Provision at
52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this
solicitation, as do the following clauses: 51.212-3, 52.212-4,
52.212-5, 52.212-4002, 52.243-1. The following DFARS clauses apply:
252.204-7004,252.232-7009. If quoters wish to receive amendments or
have any question regarding this RFQ, they must contact Hope Yurchuck

later than 16 September 1999 to be received by 4:00 P.M. local time.
Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR
52.212-3 with offer. Quotes shall be faxed (508-233-5286), federal
