39 -- PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE OF CRANES SOL N68335-99-R-0339 DUE 091799 POC Judith A. Dastis, Contract Specialist, (732) 323-7339 Solicitation No. 375653, dated September 2, 1999 is amended to read as follows: THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. (I) This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation number N68335-99-R-0339 is issued as a competitive request for proposal (RFP). (iii) The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. (iv) This solicitation is a small business set aside. SIC is 3950. (v) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS) are as follows: Clin 0001 Preventative Maintenance for Cranes in accordance with the following: The Preventative Maintenance must be performed every 6 months. Preventative Maintenance Checklist: 1. Change engine oil and filter. 2. Change air filter. 3. Change fuel filter. 4. Change all hydraulic filters. 5. Lube complete. 6. Check tire pressure and inflate to proper pressure. 7. Test battery and charging system. 8. Clean and service battery. 9. Check torque on turntable. 10. Check torque on wheel lug nuts. 11. Any additional work found to be necessary during preventative maintenance requires notification to NAEC Lakehurst. POC for notification will be provided on resultant contract. All work is to be performed at Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, NJ unless impossible to do so.
