The purpose of this modification is to address questions in regard to
solitation 8-1-9-21-C4647. QUESTION: You mention Trim Material to be
Teflon and 316SS; you also mention Leakage: ANSI Class IV. Is there to
be what is commonly known as a "Soft Seat" of Teflon which relates to
Class VI (or Class Six) ANSI Leakage rather than Class IV (or Class
Four) ANSI Leakage normally achieved with metal to metal seating (or
hard seat)? ANSWER: Leakage specification shall be "ANSI CLASS 6."
QUESTION: Could you clarify what the outlet operating pressure or
pressure drop is in the valve? ANSWER: Pressure drop in the valve
should allow the valve to flow 100 LBS/SEC with an inlet supply
pressure range of 2000 to 4000 PSIG. Posted 09/02/99 (D-SN376055).
