Synopsis/solicitation: This a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are
being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This
solicitation, FA255099Q0607 is issued as a Request for Quote(RFQ). The
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are
those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. The
Standard Industrial Classification Number is 3651 and the Business Size
Standard is 750. The proposed contract listed here is a Small Business
Set-Aside. NONPERSONAL SERVICES: The contractor shall provide all
labor, personnel, tools, materials, and new parts necessary to complete

Conference Room #1 & the Simulator Room to be routed into the OPS Room
and to the other rooms & displays. It will also allow for the OPS
computers to be displayed in Conference Room #1 & Simulator Room;
-Statement of Work for MOD 11A Remodeling- The 55th Space Weather
Squadron (SWXS) requires the above equipment to be installed into Bldg.
300 at various locations throughout Mod11A including all necessary
wiring and set-up adjustments; Conference Room #1 shall consist of the
LCD Projection System, Ceiling Mount, Electric 6_x8_ projection
screen, Switcher (to feed 5 monitors throughout Mod 11A), 2 Interfaces,
Playback VCR, Remote Control System, Presenters Mobile Mouse, and
lecturn with a built in computer to control the projection system and
a remote control system; Conference Room #2 will be a stand-alone
system and will require the basic projection system. This room will
consist of a ceiling mounted projection system for connection to a
laptop or other portable computer system for display within Conference
Room #2. A wall mounted computer interface shall be installed for easy
connection to the mounted projector; Simulator Room will consist of two
27_ Data/Video Monitors hung from the ceiling in each corner of the
front of the room. This room will also incorporate the V-Net Smart
Class Room control system to allow the controller to monitor the
progress of the entire class and to assist each student individually or
as a class. The instructor shall be able to route the video of any
workstation to any other workstation. All work- stations shall be able
to be routed to the two large screen display monitors located in the
Simulator Room; Break Room will consist of a standard television
mounted from the ceiling with a VCR for CATV connection. This
television will be independent of switching systems and considered
stand-alone; Ops Room will consist of two ceiling mounted 27_
Data/Video Monitors, interfaces for up to 5 workstation inputs and a 8
input 4 output switcher. Two of the outputs shall be routed to the two
27_ monitors in the Ops Room and one would be routed to the 27_ monitor
in the hallway. There will also be a playback VCR attached for local
CATV. One of the 27_ Data/Video Monitors will be ceiling mounted
outside of the Ops Room in the hallway for display of systems from the
Ops Room; Hallway will include one of the 27_ Data/Video Monitors,
ceiling mounted outside of the Ops Room in the hallway for display of
systems from the Ops Room. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to
offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition in accordance
with the SOW. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items
applies to this acquisition with the blanks filled in as follows:
Summary of Services Proposed. Has the offeror demonstrated by their own
words there is an understanding of the requirements of the SOW? Has the
offeror provided enough documentation to demonstrate the capability of
supplying the services specified in the SOW? Does the offerer(s)
proposal explain in sufficient detail how they will perform the
service? Has the offeror addressed the issue of how they will oversee
and manage the contract to ensure that the SOW is met? Technical and
past performance, when combined are significantly more important than
price. Offerors should provide technical information sufficient to
evaluate ability. Offerors who fail to meet the technical requirements
as set forth in the SOW may be considered nonresponsive to the RFQ.
Items will be graded by the following criteria: Does not meet the
standard (-). Meets the standard (0). Exceeds the standard (+). The
offeror who has the most (+) signs on the evaluation factors, and is
considered to be most advantageous to the Government will be considered
the apparent awardee. Offers shall include a completed copy of the
provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications
Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract
Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. No
addenda apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and
Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders
Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR 52.212-5
clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are (b) 6-10
and (c) 1,2,and 4. The following clause is applicable to this
acquisition: FAR 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds
