The standard intstallation uses a model W9 control head, the dual remote head must have the same physical layout as the standard W9 control head, the button layout and display must be identical. All funtions available on the standard W9 control head must be available on the dual remote head. The electrical interface to the radio shall be via the second DB25 connector on the Astro Spectra radio. The environmental and elctromagnetic interference specifications of the W9 control head apply to the dual remote head. The government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Motorola Inc. Federal Government Markets, 7230 Parkway Dr., Hanover, MD 21076.
