transportation and supervision to renovate boat maintenance facility
and construct new one story addition at U.S. Coast Guard Base, South
Portland, ME (Cumberland County). The work includes the construction of
a new one-story wood frame, sloping roof addition of approximately 640
s.f. abutting the existing BMF Building #7 and the interior renovation
of approximately 784 s.f. within the existing one-story metal building.
The exterior facade and roof finish of the new addition shall have
metal panels matching the existing BMF Building #7 exterior finishes;
new bronze aluminum sliding windows;new wood interior doors; new 2"x4'
suspended acoustic ceiling throughout; new boiler and metal flue; new
mechanical and electrical work; new bathrooms; new sewer connection to
existing sewer main; option bid item #1 -- existing one story metal
building: Remove the existing exterior metal rib wall panels off
building facade, approximately 700 s.f. and replace with new panels to
match the new addition in shape, color and material. Option bid Item
#2: Remove existing metal standing seam roof panels, approximately 784
s.f. and replace with new roof panels matching new addition in shape,
color and material. Estimated cost of this project is between $100,000
