Ferencz 305/324-3107 The DVA Medical Center, Miami, Florida is looking
for an Architect/Engineering firm able to provide professional
architectural and engineering services under an open-ended contract for
multi-disciplinary projects at the Miami VA. Delivery or performance
under the contract will be made only as authorized by delivery or task
orders issued. Selection will be based on: 1) Professional
qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required
services; 2)Specialized experience and technical competence in the type
of work required, including, where appropriate, experience in energy
conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, and the use of
recovered material as well as specialized experience of the firm to
perform the work required, including specific experience and
qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project;
3)Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; 4) Past
performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry
in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with
performance schedules. This includes the reputation and standing of the
firm and its principal officials with respect to professional
performance, general management, and cooperativeness as well as record
of significant claims against the client because of improper or
incomplete architectural and engineering services; 5) Location in the
general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality
ot the project. A single open-ended, indefinite-delivery,
indefinite-quantity contract will be awarded for a maximum annual value
of $1,000,000. Individual task/delivery orders will be issued under
this contract for specific projects with the value of each order not to
exceed $450,000.00. All responsible sources will be considered.
Joint-venture participation will be considered and evaluated on the
demonstrated interdependency of each joint-venture participant member
on the other which makes that union a viable design force. The SIC code
is 8712. The small business size standard is $4 million. Interested
