The following is a brief description of the work to be performed: Maintain the air conditioning equipment for a period of 1 year with an option for one additional year. Equipment is 3 each, 300 Ton McQuay chillers, Model PEH-087 (All converted to R-134A). This includes: the individual motor starters and the interconnecting wiring between the starters and the chiller compressor motors; the Microtech processors on all three chillers and the communications network that enables the chillers to communicate with the computer workstation in the operator's office; all of the software required to maintain these communications and any hardware physically located in the chiller control panels and on the chillers themselves (sensors and switches, including flow switches); (the actual computer hardware located in the operator's office is not included); all components located within the individual chiller control panels, all chiller oil and refrigerant piping and all insulation on the chillers; and providing maintenance inspection reports/logs to the government. MAINTENANCE SERVICE IS TO BEGIN OCTOBER 1, 1999! The quoters will be required to submit with their quote proof of verification showing how many employees have attended and satisfactorily completed McQuay's "Controls and Network Systems Commissioning" schools and are certified by McQuay to service and repair McQuay water cooled centrifugal chillers and Microtech chiller control systems, and verification from McQuay that the contractor has a licensing agreement for Microtech software and the contractor has full access to Microtech software updates and revisions, three references verifying that the contractor is currently and has, for the last 24 months, been servicing McQuay centrifugal chillers and Microtech control systems.
