R -- PIANO SERVICES SOL 118-0005 DUE 092299 POC Michelle Davy, 606-253-8892 The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a non-personal service contract to the responsible individual/company to provide piano services to the inmate population housed at the Federal Correctional Institution, Petersburg, VA. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. Duties include but are not limited to: providing accompaniment of either through a piano or electronic device for the Catholic Christian services held every Sunday and Monday, prepare and conduct the inmate choir during Catholic Christian services, and be able to provide solo/duet work either personally or with inmates for Holy Days, special religious seasons. The work hours shall be between 8:00 and 10:00 am on Sundays, 6:00 pm on Mondays. There is an estimated 156 sessions, with a session being equivalent to one hour. Total work hours shall not exceed 30 hours per week. This is a non-personal service contract and not a personnel appointment. The contractor shall possess a graduate degree in Choral conducting from an accredited college or university. The contract period shall include a base year, not to exceed 12 months and 4 one year option periods.
