synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is
F04700-99-Q1831 .The solicitation is a requested for quotation (RFO).
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are
those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 97-13. This
acquisition is unrestricted; the standard industrial classification
code 3441. Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, CA has a
requirement for (1) 3-Leg Synthetic Web Sling and hardware, (1) forward
Attach fixture Assembly (5HG-67001-105, and (2) Aft aircraft sling
Adapters (5H690035-105,5H690035-106), and system proof load testing at
Lockheed Ft. w orth TX. These items required for Benefield Anecholic
chamber support of the F-22 EMD Flight Test Program. The sling is
necessary for hoisting the F-22 aircraft in a controlled environment
for EW/CNI test and must be in place by delivery of aircraft 4004 (May
2000). There are no substitutes or equal allowed on this contract
action. Edwards AFB CA intends to purchase these units from American
Sling Company unless other offerors can provide exact units with better
terms and conditions. Place of delivery and acceptance us at Edards
AFB, CA. With and FOB Destination and date of delivery of 30 days after
receipt of order. The following provisions and clauses apply:

one or more clauses by reference with the same force and effect as if
they were given in full text. Upon request, the contracting officer
