This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number DAKf23-99-R-0214, is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP), the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12, SIC 3535. Small Business Size 500 employees. This acquisition is Unrestricted prices shall be F.O.B. Destination, Fort Campbell, Ky., and shall be completed NLT 60 Calendar days after receipt of Contract. Requirement is to Furnish and Install a Ball Transfer Pallet System to maneuver ammunition 463-L pallets in 3 ammunition storage magazines. The system shall be installed on each of the concrete floors of the ammunition magazine. The Magazine dimensions are 25 foot X 80 foot and rectangular shape. The installation shall be performed in a manner that the floor will be level for the ball transfer unit. Wage Determination Number 94-2187 REV 12 dated 05/27/1999 will be used and will be provided upon request. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offeror -- Commerical Items, applies to this acquisition and any addenda to the provision. The provision FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items is applicable, the government will make a single award, firm fixed price contract to the responsible offer whose offer will be most advantages to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) Past Performance, (ii) Product Quality, and (iii) Price.
