The government intends to conduct this acquisition as a simplified acquisition for a commercial item in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), quotes will be solicited from a single source. This is a requirement for the provision and installation of a closed circuit television system by Shane Gelling in four separate arms rooms which will be determined by the government on Fort Hood, Texas. The cameras shall transmit video to the Commercial Intrusion Detection System (CIDS) and Alarm Monitor Station (AMS) utilizing existing Installation Local Area Network (ILAN) within four (4) seconds of an alarmed event. Data gathering and transmission media equipment shall be Y2K compliant and compatible with existing Shane Gelling equipment for which Shane-Gelling has proprietary software rights. This is for one (1) each complete system.
