Baytop, Contracting Officer, (202) 707-0446 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with theformat in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation quotation are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is S-LC99044. Provide your written offers for the following item. Digital recorder, Nice Systems or equal to, consisting of: 32 Channel Nice Vision Video Logger (1 ea.); 36GB On Line Hard Drive (5 ea.); 120 Tape Juke Box (1 ea.); AIT Tapes (120 ea.); Quad Option (1 ea.); Synchronization Interface (1 ea.); Supervision Alarm to Fax (1 ea.); 16 Dry Contact Interface (2 ea.); one year System Software Upgrades; Installation of and training on the foregoing. Salient characteristics. The unit shall: 1) Record up to 32 cameras simultaneously at 15 frames per second (fps) or better per camera, at 360 lines of resolution or better; 2) include built-in motion detection per camera input; 3) include on-board hard drive that shall be able to record and hold at least 40 hours of continuous recording of all 32 cameras; 4) include attached juke box that shall use either AIT-1 or AIT-2 Tapes to provide 30 days of recording of each of the thirty two cameras at 15 fps for each camera (system shall be able to expand to 90 days of recording and 365 days of recording, if needed in the future); 5) accept both color and black and white cameras; 6) be UL listed; 7) not require any genlock or sync signal for any video input; 8) have up to 4 composite video units per unit; 9) have real time monitoring at 30 fps vie composite vide output; 10) have built-in diagnostic to notify end user of any video failures, system problems, or tape change requirements vie pop up screen, pager, fax, voice mail, or email; 11) have video tour capability; 12) have individual alarm contact inputs for each camera; 13) connect to synchronized external time source; 14) synchronize playback multi-camera recording tracking events on one screen and; 15) be either fast ethernet (100 Mhz) or ATM protocol in order to be compatible with the Library's LAN network. The Contractor shall provide one year of software upgrades to include upgrade to 30 fps recording per camera when available and recording of 500 lines of resolution per camera.
