65 -- IMMUNOLOGICAL REAGENT FOR THC SOL N62645-99-R-0028 POC Nancy LaVigne, 301/619-3023, Contract Specialist or Ralph Payne, 301/619-3026, Contracting Officer The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for immunoassay reagent for marijuana (THC) metabolites for use in the DoD military drug testing laboratories. The immunological reagent shall be for the initial (screen) testing for detection of the principle metabolites of THC. The reagent must posses broad cross-reactivity to total cannabinoids at 50 ng/mL in order to maximize sensitivity to THCCOOH when present at a concentration of 15 ng/mL in urine. The reagent must be compatible for use with the Olympus AU800 automated drug screening equipment, and must be applicable without modification of the equipment. The reagent must be compatible with optimal throughput of the AU800 and must not interfere with the optimum performance of other immunoassay procedures performed on the instrument. Immunoassay kits are medical devices and must have clearance from the FDA to be marketed. Only written requests for the solicitation will be honored.
