875-4357, Fax No.: (703) 875-4009 From California to South Carolina and
across the Atlantic to Central Europe, TDA is hosting several
deal-making conferences this fall designed to help you do business
better by matching your company's products and expertise with decision
makers from foreign governments and companies. TDA's trademark
one-on-one meetings allow you to meet with these important project
sponsors from around the world to discuss your interest in key
international projects in one place over a few short days, saving you
both time and money. TDA conferences also offer workshops that
highlight the best project opportunities for US businesses in the
region and sector, a complete briefing book profiling each project in
detail, and strategies and insights into some of the world's most
challenging and rewarding emerging markets. Following is a listing of
the three major conferences that TDA is hosting this fall: AFRICA AND
MIDDLE EAST REGIONAL WATER CONFERENCE -- (October 19-21) This
conference, to be held in Long Beach, California aboard the Queen Mary,
will feature 25 water-related infrastructure projects from the region.
Because US firms are known for their expertise in the sector, they are
strategically positioned to supply ozonators, controls and
instrumentation, specialized pumps and valves, and sludge-handling
equipment. Coupled with the engineering and design services that will
be needed, US exports for water projects in Africa and the Middle East
could exceed $1 billion over the next five years. For more
information, contact Carol Bell with EA International at (410)
584-7000, or visit the event Website at www.tda.eaest.com. US
ENVIRONMENTAL AND PROCESS TECHNOLOGIES CONFERENCE -- (November 2-4) TDA
will host this regional conference in Budapest, Hungary, to highlight
the unprecedented opportunity for US companies to capture a share of
the industrial-related environmental projects in several European
countries currently negotiating accession to the European Union.
Project sponsors from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Estonia,
Slovenia and Cyprus will present detailed information on at least 30
major projects in the sub-sectors in which US businesses are the most
competitive -- industrial remediation, process control technology,
energy efficiency, wastewater technology and more. For more information
about this event, contact Dan Lamey with MFM at (305) 285-7883, or
visit the event Website at www.mfmgroup.com/budapest.html. WORLD PORT
CONFERENCE -- (November 8-10) From Latin America to Asia, harbors are
being dredged, berths added, navigation systems made safer, and
productivity enhanced through technological advances. To meet a growing
demand for trade along the world's waterways, TDA will host this
conference in Charleston, South Carolina, to highlight 50 near-term
port projects. If you work in the port industry, there is a place for
you to negotiate deals and market your products and expertise at this
event. For more information, contact Lynn Harmon with TERA at (703)
