The Department of Housing and Urban Development intends to negotiate a sole source contract to the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) for a study to determine the effectiveness of various methods of evaluating the performance of public housing agencies and other providers of Federally assisted housing. This study will identify and examine various performance evaluation systems, including peer accreditation and the Department's current systems. The study will also include an examination of the Department's Real Estate Assessment Center.
