Pursuant to FAR Clause 6.302-1(A)(2)(iii), services are deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of follow-on contracts for the continued provision of highly specialized services when it is likely that award to any other source would result in (A) substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, or (B) unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. It is the Government's intent to acquire sole source from Texel Corporation the following services: To provide project management support and the installation of a structured certified infrastructure and network hardware implementation. All activities shall be documented in the final test result and as built package for this task. Remove existing voice ISDN system to new communications area. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is anticipated with a period of performance not to exceed Jan 2000. Estimated date of award is 15 September 1999.
