issued on/after 6/1/98. Lack of registration in the CCR database will
make an offeror/quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Please ensure compliance

following information is provided to answer discrepancies and provide
clarification for subject RFQ that was originally published in the
CBDNet on 9/1/99. Contractors are also hereby advised that the deadline
for quotes has been extended to 9/15/99 at 5:00 p.m. local time. The
following information is provided: 1) Discrepancy between drawing and
specifications: drawing shows four (4) fingers, specifications
indicates one (1). The drawing indicates long-range planning
requirement; customer is only funded for one (1) finger this fiscal
year. Positioning of finger will be determined after award of contract.
2) The drawing shows gang plank 6' wide rolling, specifications
indicates ramp is 4'. Please note that the ROLLING PLANK is to be wider
than the ramp. 3) Existing pier (where floating dock is to be
delivered/installed) is concrete. 4) Rollers and cleats are to be
provided on a most economical, commercial best practice basis.
Contractors are encouraged to quote/provide their best solution in all
aspects of this solicitation. 5) Offloading equipment (not manpower)
and storage of floating dock can be provided by the government upon
delivery by the contractor. Contractor must then coordinate
installation with government representatives. ALL OTHER TERMS AND
CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED. Quotes must be received no later than 5:00
PM, local time, 9/15/99, and will be accepted via fax (619-532-2347) or
via e-mail (gwen_young@sd.fisc.navy.mil) ONLY. DO NOT mail. Posted
