This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04700-99-T-1003. This is a Request for Quotation.(RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. Edwards AFB, CA has a requirement for Fiscal Year 2000 for maintenance of Microdyne Telemetry receivers, combiners, and submodules on an as needed basis. The cost will be based on hourly rate and materials. The maintenance shall include troubleshooting, repair, and re-test of Line Replaceable Units (LRU), Shop Repl aceable Units (SRU), and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA). Return shipping of items back to Edwards AFB shall be included in cost.Turnaround time shall be no more than 20 calendar days from receipt of equipment. The offeror's quotation will be based on an hourly rate (CLIN 0001) inclusive of labor hours, profit and general administrative expense. The number of hours will Not To Exceed 200 hours. The resultant order will have a pre-priced CLIN 0002 to cover the cost of materials. This will be a Not to Exceed amount of $7,000.00. Any expenditures against CLIN 0002 will be subject to the Contracting Officers approval prior to repair. This acquisition is unrestricted. The standard industrial classification code is 7629. The size standard is $5.0M. The acquisition Period of performance is 1 Oct 99 through 30 Sep 00.
