Jackson, Contracting Officer (256) 313-4061 The Government proposes to acquire on an other than full and open competitive basis, Engineering and Technical services, as defined in FAR 37.201(c) by the assignment of Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) and Logistics Engineering Technical Services (LETS) technicians on location and in support of the Apache AH-64A Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (TADS/PNVS) and Electro-Optic Bench (EOB) systems and components manufactured by the contractor and supplied by the Government at various U.S. Army installations in the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). The CETS/LETS technicians will provide on-the-spot advice to resolve technical problems incident to the operation and maintenance of the equipment. The period of performance for this effort is October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000 with a one-year option from October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001. It is anticipated that Award will be made utilizing a Firm Fixed Price, Time and Material, Cost Reimbursable contract. This is a sole source requirement to Lockheed Martin Electronics and Missiles, 5600 Sand Lake Road, MP-228, Orlando, Florida 32819-8907. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, is applicable to this proposed procurement.
