McNeley, Contracting Officer 760-939-4401 SYNOPSIS: PROCUREMENT NOTICE Plans and Specifications for solicitation N68711-99-Q-3379 will be issued on or about 10 September 1999 over the Internet at http://www.efdsw.navfac.navy.mil/home.htm as an Electronic Bid Solicitation (EBS). The response time required by FAR 5.203 would begin on the date of issuance of the EBS solicitation. EBS solicitation packages may be acquired by registration and download at the Internet EBS Web Site. All prospective offerors must register as plan holders on the EBS Web Site for this project. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a Firm Fixed-Price Contract. The contractor shall provide engineered design, construction, & installation for six shade canopies. Shade canopy shall be galvanized steel framing with fabric roof. The shade canopy shall conform to the design criteria as indicated on the drawings and shall meet all requirements indicated on the drawings. 1. Base Bid: six Shade Canopies at Child Development Center. 2. Option Bid: Option Bid is based on Government Funds Available in the fiscal year 1999. Any one or more Option Bids as indicated on the drawings could be awarded at any time during the construction under this contract. Option bids including: Option Bid 2A -- One Shade Canopy at Knox Field (1), Option Bid 2B -- One Shade Canopy at McBride Park (2), Option Bid 2C -- One Shade Canopy at Solar Park (3), and Option Bid 2D -- One Shade Canopy at Schoeffel Field (4). The tentative issue date is on or about 10 September 1999 with the quotes due 24 September 1999 at 2:00 p.m. The SIC Code is 1542. The related small business standard is 17.0 million.
