Center San Diego Simplified Acquisition Monterey Site intends to
negotiate and award on a sole source procurement using Simplified
Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 (b) and
6.302 with Radian International LLC, 5600 Airport Blvd. Boulder, CO
80301Delivery shall be made within 30 days after reciept of award to
Naval Postgraduate School, 589 Dyer Road, Room 254, Monterey, CA, Radar
Processor, Line 0001) fully integrated, including Windows NT operation
system, LAP-XM Software, digital boards (radar controller, Coherent
integrator and DSP boards), CD-ROM, Operations Manual (1ea). Line 0002)
Interface unit and cables. Unit provides power supply voltages to radar
amplifiers, control signals to receiver/modulator and antenna phase
shifter. Interface control board buffer control signals for receiver
output and allows monitoring of antenna control and supply current for
final amplifier (1 ea.). Line 0003) Receiver/modulator unit. Generates
radar signals and receives, filters and offsets radar return signals
for processing by radar processor. Components include input blanker, IF
amplifier/filter, quadrature detector, switchable Bessel filters
matched to pulse length, local oscillator and modulator with high
isolation RF switch (1 ea.). Line 004) GPS Receiver. Provides reliable
time base for system clock. (1 ea.). The Government anticipates the
award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. The proposed purchase
action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to
solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR
6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to
respond to the requirement or submit a quotation. This notice of intent
is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals
received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis
will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government
not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to
this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
