Kelly (732) 323-7437 Fax (732) 323-4069 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to solicit on a non-competitive basis for the acquisition of 15 Portable Data Terminals (PDTs) for which the Government does not own complete technical specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. Paravant part number RHC-44E with the following specifications: Memory with optional 2MB FLASH ROM Disk and Optional Auxiliary FLASH ROM for non-volatile storage of system configuration, Input/Output Ports must be RS-232 Port Standard with DC power in with Optional Militarized Circular Fisher connectors, Display with Standard Components with NO optional external VGA monitor connector, Keyboard with standard keyboard with optional back lit keyboard using same intensity adjustment as display, Power with standard equipment, Standard Software, Environment standard, optional field case with shoulder strap. The Government intends to procure this under the authority of 10 USC (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Paravant Computer Systems, Incorporated,780 South Apollo Blvd., Atrium One, Melbourne, FL 32901, is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to provide the needed units within the required time period. The Government intends to procure under SAP procedures as N68335-99-M-3265. Firms that recognize and support the PDTs are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
