This requirement is for a Digibotics Inc., Digibot III 3D Laser Digitizing System or equal. To be considered for award, quotes on "Equal" products including products (other than the brand name item) of the brand name manufacturer must meet the following salient characteristics: *System runs automatically and is capable of 4 axis scanning of complex curved surfaces without operator involvement. *System capable of Accuracy/Repeatability 0.0005 inch (1-sigma range)/ 0.0002 inch (1-sigma range) values quantified by repetitive scanning of a 1" diameter, 2" height cylinder object. *A minimum work volume of a cylinder 36" Diameter by 60" height *Capable of a work weight of up to 2000 lbs static axial load *Size suitable for office environment. 6'x6'x7' maximum. *Data output in all of the following: DXF, IGES, IBL, OBJ, STL and ASCII XYZ *System software must be able to run on PC platform under Win98 or WinNT operating systems. *Computer hardware supplied with system must be compatible with an ATX form factor PC architecture using Intel and or AMD chipset technologies. *System design allows for repairs by in-house personnel and has no annual maintenance requirements.
