The Government intends to issue on a sole-source basis, under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Acquisition of Commercial Items, a purchase order with Mykotronx, Inc., Columbia, Maryland for KIV-7 Chassis (2 Slot) with power -- 1 (one), KIV-7 Chassis (4 Slot) with power -- three (3) and High Speed KIV-7 four (4) that are required to build the tactical data network system which is mandatory to the existence of the Systems Integration Environment. Mykotronx, Inc. is the only source that can provide this equipment, as the equipment is proprietary data of Mykotronx, Inc. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forth-coming solicitation. Requests for copies of a request ofr quotation (RFQ) for information only will be honored. Any responsible firm that believes that it has the capability to provided this equipment may contact the referenced contract specialist or contracting officer to submit a quotation.
