Additionally, the solicitation requires an offeror to demonstrate that their proposed equipment is backward compatible with the RD-674A and RD-681 Recorder Reproducers. The Offeror will be required to play on their equipment, a 2.6" magneto-optical disk that contains data that was recorded on a RD-674A/681. The current audio files are standard PCM format with a 7.4kHz sampling rate. Upon request from the offeror, the government will provide a prerecorded 2.6" magneto-optical disk to the offeror for use in determining if their equipment can play data recorded from a current RD674A and/or RD-681 Recorder-Reproducer. The government plans to solicit and award a contract for this requirement as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification code for the equipment is 3571 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. Offerors are cautioned that to qualify as a small business concern under this RFP, it must either furnish a product that the concern itself manufactures, or furnish the product of a small business manufacturer.
